The Farmhouse, 6 bed property, Forres

Lovely big farmhouse with lots of room. Bread, milk, butter and eggs left for us which was a lovely touch.

We weren’t able to use the hot tub as we couldn’t get it to stay lit, may have been the weather but maybe need to reposition in a more sheltered position or put fence around it. The downstairs bed was a large mattress on a smaller frame which made it uncomfortable. The upstairs shower leaked into downstairs bathroom, also downstairs shower door was broken.

Erratic heating and some parts very draughty. Some issues with shower doors sticking or not closing properly 2 attempts to get hot tub working but failed

Everything, we had the best stay. Carol was amazing from start to finish. A lovely lady and very accommodating. Hot tub was great and we had a Jacuzzi bath in one of the lager rooms upstairs. We did not expect which was a bonus. We had our dogs with us and Carol made sure they had their special treats along with our welcome basket. Bread, milk, butter, shortbread, eggs etc. Will 100% be back in the near future.

Nothing, everything was fantastic. A few previous reviews mentioned that the farm could do with some work and decorating. For us it just added to the Character of this beautiful building. It's nothing that I would even complain about or mention.

Loved the amount of space, was very quiet and the spot allowed for some laughs without worrying neighbours. The beds were very comfy and the hot tub was great investment! The fridges inbuilt ice maker was very handy Would recommend and will definitely book in the future

The WiFi was a bit weird, some of us couldn't connect and devices such as laptops and consoles and even then our phones would disconnect or could not even find the network. One of the Bedrooms had 2 singles instead of the full bed listed on the booking.

Wifi needs to get fixed . There is to two dongles but there very slow.

The location and the cleanliness.

The toilets can't lock from Inside. Carol was exceptionally helpful and very friendly through out our visit.

Lot of space, cozy bedrooms

the location was in the middle of a soon to be enormous caravan site.the kids loved the hot tub,there was more than enough wood to use.the house was clean and comfortable,the washer and dryer was a great help as was the dish washer.there was a nice welcome pack waiting for us so we could have a cuppa,i think it had just changed hand so there will be a large refurb on the way to make it even better

im sure when i first booked it,it said secure garden and there was 2 twin rooms,when i double checked before we came i was told there was only 1 and there was a put me up bed available...the garden was not enclosed,there was a piece of tape over the outside light switch,i was surprised how much of a building sight it was but it was tidy and didn't bother us,mabe next time there will be many more caravans around
