3 Bed Holiday Home in Llandeilo with log burner

Loved everything!! It is spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated and had everything you would ever need. A lovely sunny kitchen opens on to a great outside terrace. The house is in a very quiet area and has a very safe private parking spot located behind the house. We would give this accommodation a score of 11 or more if we could! It's also in a great position to walk in to town and very near the wonderful Dinefwr National Trust house and castle. (we did take the car here as the private drive to the house is quite long!)

Stayed here for the April Bank Holiday and the property was perfect for our long weekend. The whole property was beautifully decorated throughout, all rooms were all a good size and parking the car was easy with the space around the back in front of the garage. The property was located a short walk away from the town with some great little pubs (especially the White Horse) for good food and drinks. Locals were really friendly also which was great for first timers in Llandeilo. The host Stephanie was also very friendly and helpful throughout our stay and even left out laminated instructions to light/clean the log burner, which proved very useful. Unfortunately the weather took a turn for the worse over the weekend so we didn't get to enjoy the outside area but will definitely book again in the future to hopefully enjoy this space. Highly recommended if you're looking for a short weekend away with your partner or small family.

There wasn't any wood left at the property for the log burner (minor thing) but Stephanie was very helpful in informing us a local store that sold the suitable kindling for the fire.

Nothing not to like

Very tastefully decorated.

Blunt knives 1 side light in bedroom, couldn't both read No wardrobes or dressing table in bedroom to lit clothes and bags on. No table mats.

Good general layout of the house. Very nice furniture including a couple of comfy sofas in the living room and the bed in the Master Bedroom was lovely. Very comfortable and cozy. Lovely outside seating area although we weren’t able to use it due to the weather. Plenty of good facilities and appliances. A pity we weren’t there long enough to use everything but it makes for a lovely base from which to explore the local area. Could easily accommodate 4-5 people.

Personal preferences than actual faults but I found the “old cottage style” front door key to be fiddly. Also I would have more carpet, especially in the bedrooms. We only stayed for a couple of days so it wasn’t an issue but if someone was staying for a week or more then the addition of a small wardrobe in the main bedroom. I believe there was at least one in one of the smaller rooms though.

Location, a good space for 2 people as we had our own bathroom which is perfect for us!

It would have been nice to have some logs for the log burner……even just to start us off 😊
