The Old Studio

Beautiful place in a beautiful setting. So much to see and do in the area. A great base. We loved it. The house has everything you need, so close to the town centre just a couple of minutes walk. Having its own parking space was a great bonus. Very clean and comfortable. The bed was amazing so comfortable we both slept so well.

Nothing to dislike

Loved how comfortable the bed was. The sheets were super soft. Nice and clean. Loved the design and decoration of the property. Location was great for walking into Knaresborough.

If I’m being really picky. Could do with a couple of hooks in the bathroom and maybe some shower gel?

Key code and parking details sent a few days before, very clear and helpful. We'd requested a 2pm check-in which was agreed but we then received a message mid-morning to say the house was ready and we could check-in whenever we were ready! Location was fabulous, a short walk downhill to the river and the lovely walks and cafes along the riverside, or a short walk uphill to the centre which was full of shops, cafes and bars. The house had everything you need for a short stay, a well equipped kitchen and a nice bathroom (not that we used the kitchen much as we were surrounded by cafes and bakeries!)

Nothing we didn't like. Shame a couple of pubs had recently closed down (inc the Mother Shipton Inn) but that's just unfortunate, there were plenty of other nice places to go.

It was clean, comfortable and cosy. Everything you needed was available and thought was taken to make the stay pleasant.

The road was rather noisy but there was traffic works going on so that made it worse, maybe without the work being done it’s better.
