Was an absolute pleasure staying here. Margaret greeted us at the door, welcomed us in and showed us around. She had the fire prepared to be lit at night time too which I thought was real sweet and she also recommended places to stay. The cottage itself was everything you could ask for, short walk to town, view was fab and was such a cosy stay. Will definitely be back:)

"I went with my brother, and it was perfect. We each had our own rooms, there’s a small king room and a separate fully eq"

The location couldn’t be better. You are near the sea and the mountains. Great to sit outside in the evenings and watch the sea which is just across the road. It was a lovely as I hoped it would be, very pretty.

I forgot to pack a hairdryer. No complaints about the property.

"A cosy retreat house filled with warmth and character, this cottage is a delight."

10.0

Wonderful location, cosy atmosphere within the cottage, tasteful decor, the wood burner and the fabulous view. The cottage was clean, had everything we needed (including wood for the fire, dishwasher, roll top bath and towels) and was perfectly situated at the end of a beautiful row of cottages steeped in history. I love the thick cottage walls and original features like the half door. The view from up the back is fantastic and the rockery is well planted. The ability to park up behind the cottage is bonus as it can be difficult to park out the front. Plenty of good cafes and restaurants nearby. The cottage was warm, as it utilised a gas combi boiler with thermostat and hot water was freely available via the gas. The shower is electric.

The main bedroom mattress was a bit too firm, but I guess that’s a preference issue.
