Quirky cottage as described, has some lovely original features, well equipped kitchen, big bathroom.

Not a dislike but Needs a little TLC.and a few modernisations, as pets are allowed to stay in the property there was a distinct aroma of dog.

Very adequate older-stlye cottage, comprehensively equipped and ideal for a short break (especially if, like us, you are dog-owners). Great location, sufficiently far away from the main road for it to be lovely and quiet. Excellent value. The Windmill pub (less than ten minutes walk down the hill) is similalry well-recommended.

Had a lovely little stay at Moonfleat Cottage , Choice of 2 car parking spaces, It was comfortable very clean ,and was extremely well equipped .Cottage was larger than we expected . Grass Garden area at the back ,yes there was a lot of steps to negotiate but we knew that before going so not a problem to us . Local pub The Windmill is easily under 10 mins walk, is very good with decent home cooked food and is dog friendly but best to book to ensure you get a decent table in the bar with lovely views . Easy to get to many beauty spots from the cottage ,inc Watchet ,Dunster ,Minehead and Porlock all in the same direction and all done in one day . We would not hesitate to return .
