Loved the location, so peaceful, loved the lodge too, so spacious and clean, the decor was so welcoming.. The bar and restaurant onsite was great, the food from JJs was delicious but would advise the portion sizes are huge so maybe share starters,

"Visit to York"

Lodge was in a great location to visit York and was very comfortable. The hot tub was a fantastic edition. It had everything we needed facilities wise.

Lodge smelt of dog and one of the beds in the twin room was covered in dog hair and smelt of stale sick. The owners were contacted and bedding was replaced but the smell remained.

Lodge is beautiful Staff are so kind and organised Hot tub is amazing In a quiet private area Dog friendly

No instructions for heating, it was very cold in the lodge. The heating was hardly on.
