Beautifully furnished 4-bed townhouse on South Cliff

The house had a lovely homely feel about it and very clean. The owner was very helpful especially with location suggestions and a nice book with information about the local area. Would happily stay again.

We walked through the front door and the place was lovely, clean, lovely decorated and really spacious, we had come to Scarborough to spead the ashes of a very dear friend and after 5 minutes it felt like home.

For us was just the parking

Exceptionally clean and comfortable . The property was very well equipped and there were lovely touches from the host like bread and milk. All the essentials were provided. Plenty of towels too. The place did not feel like a holiday home, it was extremely well presented and very comfortable.

No off road parking. Although we did manage to get parked I would imagine that if you were staying here with more than 1 car, you would need to use the public car park. There is a dining kitchen on the ground floor but the lounge area is very small. There were only 3 of us this trip and we filled it. if you were going as a group of 8, I think you would struggle to all sit in the lounge. The property has an unattractive outlook, front and back and although it is a short walk to the sea, it is very steep. Although on the original description it states pets allowed, on arrival it said small well behaved dogs not allowed on furniture, not allowed upstairs. This is late notice if you arrive with a big dog (fortunately ours is a small dog) and may not fit in with your life style with your dog. We have cancelled previous bookings because of such restrictions placed on our pet.

Absolutely gorgeous property inside and out. Beautiful decor, immaculately clean. Tea, coffee and milk provided as well as some toiletries and cleaning products. Good location to visit the South Bay sea front and Oliver’s mount. Check in and out was very easy. Ellie has thought of absolutely everything and clearly has an eye for style and detail. A very nice touch of a bottle of bubbles was left in the fridge for us as we celebrated our mini moon here! Thank you again!!
