Great location & gorgeous house, very spacious and was very accommodating with plenty of utensils , crockery , pots & pans, washer/dryer etc. We had a great time and having this place made our experience even better. I feel like we got our value for the money. Altogether really pleased and would return.

We did blow a tyre on the boulder at the back door, so be very careful when turning around here. The dining room chairs were abit wobbly , though they are lovely we were afraid they would break. Very minor but would have liked a broom so we could clean up quicker and also the Hoover did smell when using. But nothing would put me off from recommending this lovely house.

The house was beautiful, clean, and within close proximity to Bowness centre.

be careful of the bolder next to the back door, we blew a tyre on it trying to turn the car around.

Fantastic location close to Bowness-on-Windermere, spacious bedrooms, large, well stocked, kitchen dining room. Lovely old house. Great choice for family get togethers.

Outside seating area is at the front of the house near the road, not a big issue... just meant we were less inclined to sit out.

Shower a little temperamental in one of the bedrooms and top floor bedroom a little draughty

Beautiful big old house. Very comfortable. Excellent location. Great for a group.

A welcome pack would have been a nice touch. More toilet paper would be helpful. Every room ran out.

The garden was not private and not particularly usable, would have also benefited from some coffee cups as there was a espresso machine but no cups that fit the machine

Lovely spacious, comfy rooms and a brilliant location for exploring. The kitchen was brilliant for family cooking and socialising. We loved our stay and wished we could have stayed for longer.

Although dog friendly, the garden and yard aren't secure. Bring a pen to block off the gate and ensure dogs can go outside safely. Not a huge issue, but this is the only holiday home we've stayed in that doesn't offer a welcome pack, especially considering the price and loveliness of the property.
