Valtos 23 Isle of Lewis

We loved everything about Valtos 23. It is a much loved home and oozes 'welcome' as soon a you walk through the door. It had everything we needed for a very enjoyable stay, games, jigsaw's and kitchen untensils we did not expect to find, but needed. Great views. A lovely community including the local sheep. We loved every minute and wish we had booked for longer.

The only thing we could not find was a hairdryer, but that in no way detractedfrom the wonderful stay we had.

The location of this house is amazing. You will not find a more beautiful location with very friendly neighbours. The house is perfect for anyone's stay with a great kitchen and accommodation.

My trip was too short.

It’s a great location. Lovely view. Beautifully refurbished yet still retaining its unique charm. The kitchen is well equipped and the shower is very good. The Rayburn keeps the place lovely and warm.

washing machine not working, carrying out all our own trash / recyclables, no bath soap

Immaculately clean property that although in places was a little dated, only added to it’s homely charm. Well appointed warm kitchen perfect for enjoying meals with a gorgeous view. Comfortable bed and a wonderful nights sleep – so quiet and restful. We really enjoyed our stay (24th Wedding Anniversary) and would not hesitate to return. It was quite simply lovely, and will certainly stay fondly in our memories.

If we are being very picky, maybe supplying some logs/coal for the open fire would be a nice touch.

living room small for 6 adults. decor dated in living room & bedrooms but all comfortable and functional
