"We had the perfect stay, Charles was very helpful and responsive great host"

Perfectly situated, everything on your doorstep

The parking is an issue although plenty of car parks available. The road is very narrow so you need to take care if you have a large car

"A great relaxing weekend in conveniently located accomodation."

Its location.

The general condition of the property was not great (lots of knocks, scuffs to walls, poor paintwork to windows etc.) We appreciate that it is now the end of the main season and much of this is just cosmetic but some of the work that is needed on this property is detrimental to guests health. This mainly applies to the damp to the chimney breast throughout, which was also evident in 2 of the bedrooms. The tiles to the bathroom floor have also lifted and could be dangerous if not wearing footwear or for small children. The main central heating was also not working throughout our stay. The owner did advise us of this and was helpful in supplying portable heaters. Looking at one of the bedroom ceilings, there is a damp spot where the en-suite is positioned on the top floor, so it may be that there is a leak there?
