Hallmount Cottage - Belfast

The host reached out well in advance of our stay to kindly offer help with any directions needed and met us upon arrival to hand over the keys. The cottage is a lovely little place to stay for a family of 3 and was a short driving distance to a large Tesco meaning can easily get everything you need to self-cater. However the host also kindly offered a basket of food and drink which was waiting for us upon our arrival which was a lovely touch.

The cottage was in a wonderfully quiet, pretty location and very clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped, the WiFi was good, and the heating was very efficient. It must be lovely to sit outside, but it wasn't quite warm enough. The host was very helpful and friendly.

David was very accomodating due to a hiccup we had with our car rental. Friendly and helpful. Willing to go above and beyond. Cottage is spotless and everything you will need is on hand and clearly explained as well as a welcome basket, fruit and milk. We enjoyed our stay there and highly recommend Hallmount cottage. Excellent location, 10 minutes from everything. David the host was lovely to deal with and checked in with us during the stay. A basket of goodies such as crisps, bread, teas,coffee etc was waiting for is which was so lovely. Dvd player very useful in the evenings.

Loved everything

The owner had prepared bread and serials for us to have breakfast after a late arrival. There were apples too and he guided us to the nearby supermarket. All was perfectly explained and we have no complaints at all. Thanks to our host!

The canape was too low for us.

Everything. Beautiful cottage and David went above and beyond to help us..fantastic host..thank you David. Cottage is exceptionally well equipped and clean...will be back.

Nothing to dislike

Great location, comfy, plenty of space, parking, lovely to meet very welcoming host and receive milk and a basket of goodies including cereals and bread

Some windows didn’t shut properly and most didn’t lock despite window keys provided but they didn’t fit work. Also shower screen and washing machine very mouldy so did not use washing machine but tried to clean shower screen which really needs replacing.

When we where out of the area. Very rural next to masonic Lodge....

The lies that was told. No bus route to be seen only cows on the field. Bad bend to enter. Not suitable to walk out of the property as footpaths too narrow.

There wasn't much on in Belfast and we wanted to visit the titanic experience but it was closed
