Primrose Cottage - Tideswell, Peak District

The cottage was so cosy and the bed was super comfy. The facilities were great with everything you needed. The layout of the cottage was quirky with the kitchen on the same floor as the bedroom which was great for morning cuppas and breakfast in bed. Having a bathroom and a separate toilet as well was convenient. The location was fab being very quiet but just a few minutes walk into town where there were lovely pubs, a fantastic fish and chip shop and lovely Italian restaurant.

The weather! As we would have loved to have sat outside at the back and enjoyed the beautiful views across the fields.

Every little thing was catered for. Anything you may want or need in a self catering property the host has provided.

We have stayed in many cottages before - this one was far the best! Cottage itself is not the biggest we been staying at but the way every inch of the space been used is incredible! Very nice and cosy place to stay! On arrival, it was very clean! Nice message from host Amanda on blackboard wishing "lovely stay". Buscuits as a treat in a kitchen.... Small things but we love these attention to detail! It makes you feel warm and welcome! Highly recommended place to stay! Well done Amanda!

Everything was amazing. The cottage is lovely, very well decorated, a lot of attention has been made even for small details. Location was lovely, the village is great and very central for the peak district, you don't have enough for an entire life to explore the walks from there. Bedding is great, we had everything we needed, toys for kids, nice exterior as well... we were so comfortable there and left reluctantly.

Beautifully presented property in a stunning village location. The cottage was spotlessly clean and welcoming. The wood heater was another surprise and added to the feel of a traditional English home. The check in was easy and instructional material helpful I would highly recommended Primrose cottage to anyone looking for a quintessential English village experience in this beautiful location

Nothing we didn't like. This place is perfect. Already planning our next trip. Parking was a bit tricky but we managed. If you are like me who never brings shampoo and shower gel, make sure you grab something on the way or at the local co-op which opens till 10 o'clock.
