It is a beautiful part of Cornwall away from busy rds and people. Hosts are very friendly, helpful and welcoming. The caravan was spotlessly clean and bedding. Good value for money.

The amazing area. Driving through Bodmin moor with the free roaming sheep , cattle and horses was great. A great central location. An easy 30 min drive to lots of locations

The weather was changeable but that cannot be helped. It didbt stop us enjoying ourselves

Had to call the owner on arrival I as I was waiting in the car park momentarily, owner came immediately after calling and showed me in. Stunning location, lovely and quiet, owners also lovely and came promptly to sort out something banging on the roof, friendly people on site and in the local pub, highly recommend Rivermead holidays

I prefer a harder bed but that’s a preference due to a back injury. Comfortable enough saying that though.

It was peaceful, just what we needed

We as two Dutch travelers throughout Great Britain often look for quiet places to spend the night. This one is more than recommended. All for a very good price, compared to others. Nice and quiet park, beautifully situated in the middle of Cornwall. We slept here for 4 nights and it's such a lovely base from which to explore Cornwall. The owner is more than helpful and is always around if you have any questions or want tips. We had rented the chalet, a very quiet place in the park, enough parking space. You have all the options to cook for yourself, you can do the laundry, everything else is there. Thank you owners, for the nice stay. J&A from the Netherlands

Very welcoming owners, accommodation was good, Lovely surroundings and quiet……..Just what you want.We had excellent weather which was a bonus.The Moor was close by if you wanted to walk, once on the main roads everything was within easy reach. We will re visit.

The narrow roads take some getting used to, but once we had got used to them they were ok.Everything else was great, plenty of areas to visit for the days out.

The hosts were very friendly. The location was super- 20- 40 minutes from seaside- all sort of different beaches sandy and rocky whatever you want and as well as other attractions like Eden Progect, Tintagel castlle etc. The caravan was nicely equiped with all utensils needed for self catering. Clean and cosy enough for our family to rest after busy day.

Internet was super slow , not able to use it especially when you have kids on tablets and you would like use it as well. We brought however our own mobile router so managed to get some range when we put it outside the window :):) We would not care about it , however in the evening we wanted a bit of rest for ourselves so it was nice for kids to entertain themelves . Roads were awful- for experienced drivers :) - super narrow- but I believe it is the charm of villages in Cornwall.
