Town center cottage with Hot tub

A stunning beautifully appointed property. Perfect base for a weekend in Northumberland

The beds. Everything in the property was very high end apart from the mattresses. Also, at this price point and level of quality, there is usually a dishwasher. Small point of luxury but worth it IMO

Great location. Good parking close by. Hot tub was nice.

Oven was filthy. Seal broken on oven door so it didn’t close properly. Ended up buying an air fryer to cook with. This was reported on the first day yet nobody contacted me to arrange to clean it. Dirty mark on the wall in the main bedroom near the bed. Damp patches in back bedroom. Dirty shower cubicle and dirty shower head. Back garden gate had no latch or lock, on our final day 3 men walked into the garden. Had no welcome pack, so we couldn’t get the central heating to work as it was chilly on an evening. The cottage as a whole needs a good clean and paintwork touching up.

Clean cozy town centre cottage, with a lovely social kitchen/outdoor area.

Cottage was very comfortable and in an excellent location if you want to be within walking distance of Morpeth's good selection of cafés, shops, bars and restaurants. The communication with the hosts was really good and they sent some detailed recommendations for the local area (we ate at Lollo Rossos which was great). The beds were very comfortable and the Wi-fi was super fast. It was nice to have Netflix on the TV as we stayed in and watched a film one night with a bottle of wine. A real bonus to have a parking permit and we got parked on the street no problem

Minor thing - no mirror in the back bedroom which meant my friend struggled to style her hair after she'd washed it.

We stayed here quite often as it's really close to all that you need. We like the hottub and garden as we have dogs so it's an added bonus that we can bring them with us. The fan upstairs was excellent especially since we are having a heatwave at the moment will definitely be back again

Easy check in and parking. The house had everything we needed and was so beautiful. Loved the decor and the hot tub was a huge bonus. Morpeth itself is so lovely, lots of coffee shops and plenty of pretty walks with the dog. We can’t wait to come back!

A little dusty in the front room but to be expected with a log burner that is frequently used

Bathroom sink didnt drain. Presume trap broken so had to keep using the bath tap which wasn't ideal. Bathroom did smell because of the broken trap
