Spacious, seaside, Victorian home "Bay View Terrace", Penzance

We loved it! The house has everything you need! And much more than that! We liked spending the evenings in front of the fireplace. Very cozy. A perfect location to discover Cornwall. The house was extremely clean! Natalie and Scott are very nice hosts… We can highly recommend this victorian home. It was the best stay of our entire South-England round trip. Too bad we had to leave… Thank you very much for everything…

Nothing! It was perfect…

We arrived after taking a ferry to Plymouth and then. train to Penzance. It was pouring rain and dark (after 7pm). As we walked up the sidewalk to the front door, the outside light popped on so we could easily see the lockbox to enter the code. Easily entered the house. We were starving and didn't have much to eat so were planning a quick grocery trip. Natalie had stocked the house with some bread, eggs and a bottle of wine! Bonus was biscuts, jam and clotted cream. Score! We were so happy to be able to just settle in, make a little food and enjoy the wine. So thoughful!!

Overall we were very happy with the accommodation and the cleanliness

No promise of a park but it worked out for us thankfully

This is by far one of the best properties we have ever stayed in. The property was comfortable, clean and spacious, with all the facilities you could need. We do not drive so travelled mainly by foot or bus. The bus stops are just a 5 minute walk if you fancy an open top bus to Lands End or St Ives and we often enjoyed the stroll to town walking along the sea front. The host was absolutely amazing, and the treats were just the icing on the cake. Thank you so much for your kindness and 5* hospitality. Would most definitely recommend.

This house was one of the nicest places I've ever stayed. I'm not saying that lightly. It was clean, comfortable, well-equipped, with nice light and attractive furnishing. There was an original fireplace and old wooden flooring. There was a good kitchen with dishwasher, plates and crockery and everything you need, plus teabags, milk in the fridge, salt and pepper and so on. There was also a well-equipped utility room with a washing machine, clothes line, etc. There was wifi and a bluetooth radio. And there were books, DVDs, toys and games for kids. The lovely couple who run the house have thought of everything, honestly! But then I have to add that they went further — because there were little gifts for the children, and scones with clotted cream and jam, and a bottle of wine in the fridge — to welcome us. They truly care and that cannot be said very often. I was so pleased to find such a nice place to stay and I have to say that the kids really appreciated it too — they were so happy when they'd seen where we were staying and it made a big difference to them. They rated Penzance as one of the best (out of many) places we visited, mainly just for this house! I cannot recommend this place enough and the hosts deserve this to be said about their beautiful guest house and the warmest of welcomes. Thank you!

Bay View terrace is a fabulous home from home.. Everything you could possibly want was provided.. Scones,cream and jam, milk, bread and eggs.. Comfy beds and a great shower.. Fresh flowers..

Everything was perfect. Absolutely nothing to dislike..

We never had an appartement that well equipped. You really found everything you needed and even more. Our host welcomed us with Scones, jam, ... wine .... We actually had breakfast for our first three days. It was wonderful to arrive and not go for the next supermarket right away (which is very close so). We also enjoyed to have a place outside where we had our breakfast every morning. The appartement in a very nice area where you can easily walk downtown Penzance as well as Newlyn.

It was a lovely home on a quiet street. Plenty of room for two; could have easily fit a family of four. Immaculate. Nice touches.

We loved the house and would highly recommend it. The beds were really comfortable. Great shower. Everything was lovely and really well thought out and we felt really welcome and at home!
