"A lovely cosy, comfortable cottage that is quiet and individual but not remote."

The location is excellent with good walking straight from the door. The cottage has some well maintained outdoor seating and dining areas which would be lovely in good weather.

Everything was fantastic. The cottage itself is a beautiful building. It was clean and comfortable. Lovely outdoor seating area, with a backdrop of peaceful fields and running water. The host had great communication throughout the booking process and stay. The house had everything we needed for the weekend.

The quiet location in beautiful, peaceful surroundings with only birdsong and the babbling brook breaking the silence. We loved the colourful array of magnificent plants and flowers especially in the garden, but almost everywhere.The decor and furnishings are of very high standard with exceptionally comfy beds.

The excellent pub just a few yards walk, unfortunately only seems to open erratically despite their published timetable and food is only served at very limited hours. Carrying bags to and from the car over the bridge with steep ramps on each side proved difficult but we were warned in advance!

"Fabulous 3 day break in fantastic cottage"

The cottage was sumptuous. Tastefully decorated and had everything you required to make the stay carefree. Large spacious bedrooms with wonderfully comfortable beds.Seating area outside which we didn't take advantage of. The pub, a stones throw from the cottage, was also a delight, nice beer in convivial surroundings..

Self catering but necessary kitchen equipment was catered for.. A welcome pack was left which was welcome because there isn’t a local shop, the pack included Milk Butter, Bread tea bags, sugar, etc. enough to tide you over. Nice touch!

Could not fault anything about the place. Beautiful!
