1 Woodlands

The location was peaceful, yet had all the amenities we would want. The house was lovely and clean when we arrived. We had everything we could need for our stay, along with nice added extras eg toilet rolls, shower gel, extra fans. All of the equipment was clean and worked as it should. When the weather cooled down at the end of the week, the hot tub was a lovely addition to our stay. We were very pleased with the washing facilities as it meant we went home with very little washing.

Just a little more storage in the twin room for clothes. There is a wardrobe outside the room, a chest of drawers would be handy.

We liked everything

We spent a long time looking for the perfect home and location for our short family break in Wales as we needed somewhere quiet and comfortable that was in a great location to enable us to visit both the coastal areas and also sightsee inland; 1 Woodlands was ideal for us. The house is beautifully finished, spacious and airy, with more than enough room for us all to relax and enjoy ourselves. The hot tub was a wonderful addition, and due to the peaceful, private location, you can really make the most of it. The house has so many thoughtful details, we had literally everything we could possibly need, whether you're playing board games (so many provided), relaxing in the hot tub, or gazing out of the window at the beautiful sunset over the hills, you feel so comfortable. We were blessed with amazing weather, but rain or shine, this property is perfect for a relaxing break away from the noise of day to day life. The hosts Olly and Kristy were incredibly welcoming and made us all feel so comfortable. We are desperate to return, and absolutely will :)

Nothing, 1 Woodlands was absolutely perfect for us :)

We recently spent 4 weeks at this wonderful vacation home and had an amazing time! The house offers a lot of space and a very quiet atmosphere, perfect for relaxation. Wasn't really clear in the description but the cottage has one walk-in shower with toilet and small sink. One bath/shower with toilet and large sink. Both downstairs in/near the bedrooms. Next to the side room upstairs you have another toilet with small sink. The hottub, accompanied by the gentle buzzing of bees, was a delightful addition. The kitchen was very complete, making meal preparation a breeze. The fantastic view outside added to the charm, and the homely environment with a nice green touch made it feel just like home. A big thanks to Kristy and Olly for making this possible!

Nothing much, the beds could be a bit softer but that is our preference. The quality was perfect. The road to the cottage is a bit narrow and bumpy. No problem for our MPV but a low sports car could be a problem.

1 Woodlands was a superb choice of accommodation for our party of 5 adults and two small dogs. Oliver & Krystna the hosts were friendly and on hand should you need them. The house was an "upside down house"; it was very well maintained, spacious and the decorations showed that a lot of thought had been put into the property. The bedrooms were a good size, with very comfortable beds and lovely clean white bedding. The facilities were exceptional with plenty of crockery, glassware, kitchen utensils and appliances. The kitchen was very large with plenty of cupboards, tea towels, dishwasher tablets, washing up liquid all provided.
