Victorian Annexe - Bath

Didn't like much location was ok to get into Bath

The bathroom was downstairs, which we didnt expect and not convenient it was also dark and dingy and not very clean. Metal circular stairs difficult to manage with luggage very narrow. Lots of spiders cobwebs and earwigs and droppings in bedrooms and landing could be easily seen on cream carpet. No bulbs in lamps in one bedroom. Light flicking in kitchen. Very basic and sparse did not feel comfortable or welcoming. Noisy when bedroom window open at night from road although was updated as a quiet location. Would have but daughter had paid and we were only two nights. Would not recommend or visit again.

We found it difficult to get our bags down the stairs from the gate. If you come by car it would not be a problem. Once inside the spiral staircase was to difficult for us to get our bags upstairs so they had to stay in the lounge. The property is lovely and the bus service is good to town.

Arrived by taxi and it was difficult to get the suitcases down the stairs as they were gravel. I am sure most people would be in a car so they would not experience the problem. Not being able to get the bags up to our bedrooms also not so good. However everything else was nice.

The quirkiness of the property, it was clean, quiet, equipped well and the views were stunning

Enjoyed Bath City. Lots of place to wine and dine. Lovely cafes to enjoy afternoon tea.
