Property Notes

Please note the cottages have oil-fueled central heating, a wood-burning stove (wood is provided) and solar water-heating panels. Electricity and oil use will be measured by a yard and a separate charge will be payable. Yards are read at the beginning and end of the stay. Bed linen is provided but not personal towels. Towels are not available for hire. Please note the time of arrival is 16.00 for a week-long stay and weekend stay. Departure time is 10:00 for a week-long stay and weekend stay. A wood-fired hot tub and sauna is available for booking. As this is very popular, it's recommended to check availability in advance. Please note outdoor activities must be booked in advance, and are weather dependent. Booking of self-catering cottage does not guarantee booking of activities, which need to be confirmed with the property after booking.Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly using the contact details in your confirmation. A deposit may be required at the property.

"Poor communication"

Hot tub

No wifi or reception we didn’t get told and had to ask about it. Cold in the house and we had to pay extra for heating and electricity.

"Very pleasant."

Very easy check in and good communication. Great lake location, really nice grounds and easy to get into town.

The properties are traditional irish cottages / lodgings and were as we expected / in line with the pictures. If you're looking for modern finishes and brand new furnishings this isn't for you.

"I was charged a lot for oil & electric from a deposit taken for “cleaning “ which I did! The facilities were too exp"

"Peaceful, fun, relaxing"

I loved that the cottage was in beautiful Fermanagh countryside, the lake was so close you could have a swim and then 2 minutes later be back for a shower. The electric bikes were super, we were tired at the end of our cycle and using power up those last long hills made all the difference! Then within a minute of finishing our cycle we could relax at the cottage. No long drive home!

I would have loved a few tea bags as we’d forgotten to bring them!
