Lavender Lodge Bourton

We loved our stay here, it was perfect and exactly what we were hoping for. We chose Lavender Lodge because it was pet friendly and located in Bourton on the Water. The property was clean, warm, comfortable and extremely well maintained. The owners kept in regular contact both before and during our stay to ensure we had everything we need - they even laid out a toy for our dog which was a nice touch. It is situated in a very peaceful location, we had no noise disturbance whatsoever and we were only a short walk to the center of town also. When we return to the Cotswolds we will look for this availability as a starting point. It is a delightful property in a beautiful town. Highly recommend

Perfect location to Bourton on the water high street. Clean top to bottom Soft and clean bedding & towels. Amazing powerful shower & huge bath Quiet and safe location with a lovely garden. Exactly what we needed for a 2 night stay.

A lovely cottage in a great location, within easy walking distance of the beautiful village of Bourton-on-the-Water. A great asset too to have onsite parking. Absolutely spotlessly clean, lovely decor, and there was a a lovely welcome hamper on arrival. Would definitely stay again. Great too for anyone with mobility issues with the downstairs bedroom and walk in shower room.

Nothing really to improve although the phone signal is poor in the cottage. Not the fault of the cottage, more the network support in the area. Had to use whatsapp to call people.

Everything. The location was brilliant; a 2 minute stroll to the centre of Bourton-on-the-Water! The cottage was beautiful & decorated so lovely. Very cute & quirky, and love the touches of lavender here, there & everywhere. Ali & Gez (the owners) were very attentive and messaged us prior to check-in to keep us updated on when the property would be ready. They also messaged us during our stay to ask how the house was and if we needed anything.

Excellent location. Cottage is just a few mins walk from the shops and cafes. It has all required amenities.

Parking is a bit tight. Everything else is great!

The property was stunning and impeccably clean. They provided everything from a welcome hamper to snacks, bread, and milk. The bed was both comfortable and spotless. The availability of straighteners was a nice touch since mine didn’t work, and they even included hairspray, shampoo, and other essentials. Decor was tastefully done. Walking distance from the lovely main river, shops and restaurants. Very quiet too. A lot of thought with guests in mind has gone into this property.

Well equipped, great location.

Great to have a washing machine but with no dryer we struggled to get things dry. Maybe a retractable clothes hanger in the court yard? Car park is the tightest we have ever seen our SUV only had millimetres to spare.

We came to Lavender Lodge for a few days on a journey from Germany. We really loved this lodge. We felt at home and welcome from the first moment. It was very clean, very well and beautifully equipped, cozy and the contact to the owners was so friendly and helpful. It is very close to the center of the village but also very quiet! We definitely want to come back.
