Inverskilavulin Estate Lodges

The chalet was beautiful and the views were just incredible. We could see stone-capped Ben Nevis and that range from the living room/kitchen and bedroom. The chalet and lodge are located way up a mountain between Fort William and Spean Bridge. Very centrally located for what we planned to do - Urquhurt Castle, Glenfinnian Viaduct, Glencoe/The Highlands and The Isle of Skye. The chalet was very new, very spacious and comfortable. We very much enjoyed "resting" from our sightseeing every evening and looking out the floor to ceiling windows. We all very much enjoyed our stay and just wish that we could have stayed even longer.

I prefer a bit softer mattress but my husband and kids were very comfortable.

Although it says only 15 min from fort william, that drive is a shared little path, often the trucks scooting down the path towards you. 25 min is more realistic and even then it is so stressful, u minimise going out at all. Good if you just want to hole up for the weekend though
