Lovely Cornish cottage in small village setting

Such a lovely, quirky old cottage, a wonderful mix of old and new. Very clean and comfortable for a family of 5. It was great we could take our dog and there was a safe courtyard for her.

Lovely 3 bedroom cottage on a quiet road in a small village. The cottage has everything you need for a great holiday, nice bathroom comfy beds, very cosy. It is less than 10 minutes from St. Michaels Mount and a 25 minute or so drive from St Ives. Lands End was about 30 minutes away and lots of amazing beaches a lot shorter drive away. Couldn't really ask for anything more, we would definitely stay again.

Nothing really. Considering the location and accommodation the price was very reasonable.

This really is a comfortable cosy Cornish Cottage. It is very well equipt and there were no disapointments. The location is perfect for exploring the pretty fishing villages and coastal paths of the far west of cornwall, both the South Coast and the North Coast. Parking is very good. Just a note of caution for anyone with mobility issues, as is typical of cottages the stairs are quite steep and might be a problem. We are all 'seniors' and managed the stairs quite well. Internet speed is very good and the decor is very tasteful. Sitting and eating outside is well covered with good garden furniture and should it rain there is a nice conservatory.

I wish I stayed longer.

Lovely, very clean little cottage, which was well stocked with utensils and the luxury of a washing macine, tumble dryer AND freezer! Highly recommend. Host very accommodating, quick to respond to any questions or issue. Quite central to many different beaches/coves and touristy attractions. Also not far from Penzance which meant we could get forgotten items quickly and easily if really needed. Looking forward to being able to book again!

* Edit -Not my sad face emoji, this everso slightly negative is from a personal point of view* From a personal point of view (because we like our comfort) would have preferred a 2nd sofa or couple of arm chairs rather than the ratten furniture in the front room. The only other things I might suggest is to name a local supplier of wood or fuel for the fire (appreciate its not supplied and not asking for it to be, but a name of a local supplier might be useful) and perhaps as an added bonus a few family board games, just incase the weather changes!! We got caught in some torrential rain on Saturday and came home very cold and wet! However we did run a nice warm bath which was a bonus to having just a shower. And it was just one wet day and at the beginning of Sept.
