Daweswood - Luxury cottage, lake access & hot tub

Beautiful property and garden, nice deco, plenty of space. Nice host, he offered us late check out without us asking 😀

Needed Aircon.. fans weren’t enough.

Fantastic house - this was our second stay as it fits our family dynamic perfectly with 5 bedrooms and bathrooms. Two kitchens really helped us with food storage and preparation. The hot tub is brilliant and the BBQ was great as we were lucky with the weather. The house is so spacious and beautifully furnished.

Nothing - it’s a brilliant house.

The house is beautifully presented with lots of attention to detail. With 5 bedrooms all with their own bathrooms it was perfect for our family group. Allister was so quick at responding to any queries and was really helpful. The ability to do water sports on the lake was a bonus. Having 2 kitchens made food preparation and storage easy with plenty of kitchen equipment. There is plenty of space throughout the house for everyone to be able to hang out - we loved the hammock in the conservatory. We hope to come back in the Spring when we may be able to make more use of the lovely garden.

One very minor observation is that the main road can be busy and noisy which you can hear if you have the front bedroom windows open but fans are supplied in all rooms so the windows can be kept closed.

The property is stunning and lots of space with everything you need.

Theres an issue with the directional shower in the left bedroom en suite. it flew off the wall with the water pressure and drew blood on my shin. Looks like it has been fixed before, needs looking at again for sure! Also, nothing to do with the property, but booking.com still owe us a refund of the difference between the prices of this and the original cancelled property, and the additional charge for extra guests we were advised by your staff would not occur. This refund needs to be made immediately as we had not budgeted for this at all, please see email sent to 4170648675@my.booking.com

The location was brilliant, with excellent facilities, loved the hot tub and the access to the lake. Great to spend time with the whole family in one place.

Beds were small, we’re all used to King size and super king size beds and my grandson rolled out of bed.
