Widecombe Cottage

Excellent location and great cottage, very comfortable and a short 10min walk to Widecombe and its excellent pubs and cafes. The hosts surprised us with supplies for cream tea as well as fresh bread and eggs which were delicious. The garden was lovely and felt very private, and we could see ponies in a nearby field from the bedroom. The log burner was very cosy, and generally the cottage had everything we needed!

This beautiful cottage was a dream come true! Such a peaceful location, surrounded by amazing views and nature. We loved everything about it. The owners were extremely welcoming and friendly and went above and beyond to help.

We cannot find fault at all, the only sad moment was having to leave at the end of our stay.

I liked the seclusion and privacy this property offered. The door opened onto open moorland. I liked the fire. And the welcome package was generous.

Minor point, but sofa rather small for two people. Not a big deal.

Very homely and quaint

We loved everything about the cottage, the location, just how lovely and quiet it was, the comfort of the property. Bonus was the welcome cream tea we had on arrival. Thank you!! Our only regret was we did not book more days! We can't wait to return and will book again.

Perfect location very friendly and super helpful owners and the beautiful moors on the doorstep. Felt a million miles away from the world.

Great hosts. Extraordinary welcome package with Devon Cream Tea. Lovely, cosy cottage with fireplace. Walking distance to the village and pubs.
