Great holiday cottage, aga, and open fire, both fantastic and very homely. Close to the shops and the pubs great parking space definitely recommended.

"The accomodation was too cold for a winter stay. It was colder in the cottage than outside. Only suitable for the hotte"

location was good; quiet with own parking. Some nice touches. Cosy kitchen. Enterance and courtyard very pretty, but too cold to use.

Unsuitable for a winter stay. It was freezing to say the very least. Wifi available but didn’t work. Needs improvements throughout in terms of furniture and layout and standard of decor. It has great potential but needs lots of work. If renting out in winter, it needs insulation, adequate heating not on a meter and reliable wifi. Electric Aga a waste of space, unsuitable for cooking, but warmed the kitchen at a great expense.

Characterful and comfortable cottage - liked the sitting room especially as a fire had been laid for us. A lovely bedroom. Great location. Parking available. Approachable host.

A little ‘tired’ in the kitchen - not much space for preparation & washing up. We hadn’t planned on cooking but I think it would have been difficult. We were quite happy to sit in there for a continental breakfast & it was nice & warm because the host had left the Aga on.

"Owner and property extremely quirky"

Location, very helpful owner , electric blanket lovely, kitchen very well equipped with air fryer, two microwaves , new dishwasher , freezer, washer, dryer and wonderful brand new reclining sofa

Not suitable for dogs due to shared access and two cats on premises. Very tight parking space, set over three floors so again not ideal for dogs. One pm check in not possible , tradesmen in on day two so rear garden area compromised , wet weather and dogs couldn’t settle as property noisy , quite stressful .

"Not worth more than 50 or 60 a night"

It was in a central location

Very dirty cat and dog hairs everywhere, cobwebs everywhere. This cottage needs a complete clean from top to bottom. Could not get WiFi to work and no signal on phones probably because of location.Overall not good ,would not stay again .
