Starfish Cottage- private beach access- dog friendly

Lovely location, great beach nearby, off street parking.

Only thing I’d recommend adding is a full length mirror, but nothing to criticise.

Towels smelt a little off as perhaps didnt dry properly. I wasnt aware of a Wifi connection and so we struggled with connection on phones. The location is all up hill when walking back from restaurants at the port, not the fault of the property or the owners but worth noting if you arent driving. Cabs are non-existent and a real struggle to book.

Near to where we wanted to go ,nice to have a private beach on the housing estate .

Needs to be thoroughly cleaned inside and out ,cobwebs everywhere .Very disappointed with the towels ,very thin and no guts in them .Freezer needs defrosting .3rd bedroom needs to rethink with the bed,no bedside table or hanging facilities ,could have put what they had in second bedroom in third as well .Certain rooms need an update.

Couldn’t find the tv controller or the recycling bags. Other than that it was perfect.

Unfortunately all the towels didn’t smell fresh. Towels smelt of damp so did the single room bedding. We had four adults and only 3 duvets. We had to buy one from tesco for the 4th adult. The kettle leaked everytime we used it.

Excellent location, a couple of minutes by car into Charlestown or a 15 minute walk. The accommodation felt spacious and was very well-equipped. We felt very comfortable - a home from home experience.

The towels were very thin and scratchy, they also smelt of damp so we purchased some bath towels from Asda and just used the towels provided for getting out of the bath / shower (as there were no bath mats). There were also some cobwebs in the corners of the bedrooms and the garden was a little overgrown. The property is currently up for sale so wondered if these small issues related to this.

Location was great, it had all the facilities that we needed!
