Aqueduct Cottage

The cottage was located in lovely spot right next to the canal so some great walks for the dog, the peacefulness in the evening when the visitors to the site had left and with not artificial light the skies were clear and the stars were so clear.

The shower for the girls was a bit hit and miss being able to get continuous heat apparently, with a nip in the air of a night the heater in the front room we could not get to work but that may have been us rather than the facility/

Lovely location. Beautifully quiet. Nice to have a small fenced garden too. We loved being by the canal and had a great day out on one of the Red Line day boats. Kitchen facilities good. Beds very comfortable.

WIFI and TV didn't work. No one answered the emergency number. It was Christmas Eve so no one around at all. We left early. Letter replying to my email was very unsatisfactory.

Lovely setting for a cottage. Very picturesque set in plenty of space just beneath the canal. It is a quaint basic cottage. Bedrooms were nice and beds although soft mattresses were comfortable for a good night's sleep.

It could do with a deep clean, door locks very hard to operate, kitchen very small and could do with a new bathroom, the shower pressure was very low and hard to get a tolerable temperature. It's enough for a couple days at most. I can imagine it would be very cold in winter.
