Coldstream Cottage

The location was excellent - 5 minutes gentle stroll from the centre of the village. Both the cafe and the village pub serve excellent food and drink; the little village shop (inside the cafe) is well stocked with all the holiday staples you'll need (we stopped by Tesco Extra in Haverfordwest en route for wine, bread and tapas snacky bits). I have never stayed in a cottage with such a comprehensively equipped kitchen - it was almost like being at home! There was literally everything you could ever possibly need, and then some ... including flasks, lunchboxes, ice packs. AMAZING! There is always something happening in the harbour and on the beach - boating, SUP-ing, swimming and its really family friendly. We dined at the pub a few times during our stay - they have an extensive selection of draught beers and the wine list puts some London restaurant ones to shame. There was more than ample parking, both on the drive and outside the gates to the property ... its an odd little village divided in 2 by the old estuary (now fields full of wildflowers and friendly cows) with a funny little one-way traffic system in place but, we loved the views, the friendliness of the residents and the peace and quiet.

We could have done with a non-slip mat for the bath/shower ... as ladies of a certain age our balance is occasionally "wobbly".

Nice location, clean and well-equipped property.

Location: Dale is a delightful village with a charming sea front. Quiet, lots of natural interest.

Good facilities. Comfortable. Close to good dining venues.

House was a bit musty, noticeable because it was cold during our stay and we couldn’t open up the house.

A really nice cottage/bungalow. Bed comfy, kitchen excellent. Ideally placed for Dale and it's facilities. Recommended!

Great location and plenty of parking

I wouldn't recommend this property for a winter stay, night storage heaters don't give enough warmth and cosiness to the property. Night storage heaters weren't put on the night before our arrival so property was cold (for which the host has apologised for) but it didn't make for a great welcome.
