Middlethorpe Apartment

Lovely stay - very warm welcome from our hosts with a wonderful welcome pack to ensure we could relax from the moment we arrived. The apartment was immaculately presented and there were also lots of thoughtful touches to ensure we were really comfortable.

The apartment is spacious and it is one of the best apartments we have stayed in. We had everything that we needed. Very comfortable bed and sofas. It is in an excellent position for local buses into York so we did not need to use our car.

Very well equipped, spacious, considerate hosts, great shower and importantly a decent mattress.

This was by far the best apartment we have stayed in (and we have stayed in some great ones) The hosts were marvelous, messaging ahead to say we could check in early if we wanted and giving us a very warm personal welcome. The apartment was spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated with a great kitchen, bathroom, bedroom, living room, dining room, sun room and even a furnished garden area. The hosts left fresh milk, a huge bowl of lovely fresh fruits, chocolates, an amazing selection of coffees teas and biscuits and even a fresh bouquet of flowers!! There really were too many thoughtful extras to list (such as a torch and a night light in the hallway) The location was great. Very quiet but close to bus routes. Buses run regularly to the center and only take a few minutes. One evening we walked home from the center in about 40 minutes along the attractive Tadcaster road. Private parking was a huge bonus. Perfect! We would love to stay again. If there was a Booking.com award for the best hosts, these guys deserve it. Many thanks Andy and Jo.

We liked everything about it, the owners met us when we arrived-they were lovely;-the apartment was absolutely amazing-everything you needed was there. We took a cab into York-again that was perfect, just a short ride away-we wouldn't hesitate to recommend this apartment to anyone x

Absolutely nothing

Once again, our stay was excellent. It's beginning to feel like our second home. Everything about it was so good, we always feel so very welcome. Have already booked our next stay!!

This apartment was perfect for our visit to York, which was a bus journey away. We were very comfortable. Great shower, comfortable bed, well-equipped kitchen and a lovely outside patio. Would definitely recommend.
