Ard Na Mara Self Catering Isle of Mull

Brilliant, well equipped and extremely dog friendly cottage. Spotlessly clean and fully stocked. Bubbles, milk and biscuits were a lovely welcoming touch.

Track up to cottage had some pretty scary potholes. Underfloor heating was on despite the weather being warm so we ended up with windows wide open.

Big rooms,very comfortable beds. Kitchen very well stocked.

Upstairs shower doesn't keep a steady temperature. Even when connected to the WiFi the Internet is slow.

We were very lucky to be able to return and this time stay for 2 weeks. The house was again spotless, including bedding. The beds and sofas were very comfortable. The kitchen was stocked with everything you could need. Brilliant wildlife around the house and an extremely responsive owner.

Very comfortable and well equipped.

We had a great time despite the mostly wet weather on Mull. The house is very cosy and comfortable in a lovely quiet location. The owner had thought of everything including a welcome pack of milk, locally made biscuits and wine, and a vey well equipped kitchen. They were very helpful in providing detailed directions to the house and also lists of things to do and restaurants to try. The photos don’t quite do it justice as it has very spacious rooms plus a utility/ boot room. While we had the 2 bedrooms and a shower room upstairs, friends who came with us had the double bedroom and a separate bathroom on the ground floor with a hallway separating it from the living room. Really comfortable beds and high quality pillows meant we slept well. It’s near to white sandy beaches, with relatively easy walk up to Langamull beach (40 mins) and a short drive to the beautiful Calgary beach. Great for our dog who loved galloping along the sand. The house is also only 8-10 min walk to the restaurant, Am Berlinn, where we had a fabulous meal.

The house was beautifully decorated and equipped with everything in a gorgeous setting. It was extremely clean. The beds and bedding were great and we were very comfortable

The house is just stunning and the decor is beautiful. A lot of thought has gone into this and it really shows. Beautiful gardens and saw 5 deer, 2 stags and some hares we were soo pleased 😃

Lovely quiet location., Comfortable spacious house.

Great location for the north of the island the cottage situated in a peaceful nook and close to amazing beaches of Port na Ba and Langamull. Warm and comfortable with all facilities lovely to return to at the end of the day. Thanks Catriona.
