Smithy House

The location was perfect, great drives out and walks up to the castle, easy walk with some spectacular views. Views from garden were wonderful. Friendly bar next door, dogs welcome if you have one. General store and cafe opposite. House itself well equipped, has got everything you need. Comfortable beds and plenty of space.

Nothing really, carpets a bit jaded but I expect this house sees a lot of visitors so hardly surprising. The outside waste bins were absolutely full when we arrived so we did struggle to dispose of our rubbish and unfortunately people hadn’t really bothered with the recycling guidelines.

Modern, clean and well equipped property perfectly suited for two couples (or six people). Walking distance to two hotel/pub/restaurant locations.

Virtually perfect, if nit picking - the single mattresses downstairs seemed old-style steel spring type.
