we had booked 2 nights at this cottage.On the evening of arrival we could not open the box in front of the door where the house key is. We tried several times to reach someone on the emergency phone. But without success. You could only leave a message. So we had to look for a hotel room at 11 o'clock in the evening. The next day we were able to reach someone on the emergency phone who told us that the wrong code had been given to us by email for the key box. This annoyed us very much. So we were able to get into the house. The house was very cold and we could not turn up the heating. So we wanted to light the fireplace but the two pieces of firewood that were there were damp and it didn't work. Not only did we not get an apology and no feedback, we were given the wrong code and had to look for a hotel late at night, to make matters worse they threatened to call the police at the last minute because we hadn't checked out at 10am sharp. So I would not recommend this holiday home as the organisation is very poor. However, the accommodation was very clean and the bed was very comfortable.

The TV channels are limited so bring plenty of books if you're staying in Nearest shop is a drive so make sure you bring supplies

cosy, quirky, homely. practically everything you needed was there. in a lovely little village.
