Campden Mews is an absolutely gorgeous cottage; well designed and furnished; incredibly beautiful, inside and out with a stunning garden. The property is in the center of the high street -- after going through a blue door, you are whisked away to a Narnia-like oasis of calm. We cooked one night at home and ate in the garden a couple of times and had all the amenities we needed. The downstairs toilet was very convenient and the electric fireplace was a really nice touch for cozy evenings enjoying a cake or cheese board from the excellent Fillet & Bone next door. Our host was responsive, helpful and kind. We absolutely did not want to leave, and would recommend this place for a family or 2 couples.

We loved our stay, so I share this information so it is available -- one bedroom has a shower and the other only has a tub. We (parents in their 70s and child + partner in their 40s) managed just fine sharing the shower and using the tub on occasion. Also, if like me, you like to sleep in a dark cave (haha), then I would bring an eye-mask, as the rooms did get light early due to the long British summer. However, neither of these things would stop me recommending or coming back.
