Rose Cottage

My stay was in winter and the accommodation was warm. It was well equipped and comfortable.

The directions were poor. The postcode didn’t help. What3Words should be added

The reason for the lower score is that unfortunately there was an issue with the heating and hot water for one evening and morning of the stay, which couldn’t be resolved by the hosts and they said they would need to call an engineer, so we were cold for one night, after doing a November hike.

We’ve been here twice now and always enjoyed the location and how it felt like home from home.

The cottage is so very lovely, nice and clean and not far from the town.

It is not really a big issue, but if there are some tea or coffee and seasoning in the kitchen would be really good.

The location of the cottage was perfect for us to continue our South West Coastal Path journey as it was so quiet and comfortable and the required buses were easily accessible. The weather was awful so a great place to come 'home' to. All we needed to for self-catering or close enough to the town to eat out. Variety of restaurants available.

Nos gustó la ubicación, en un lugar tranquilo y apartado de Camelford, con plaza para dejar el coche al mismo lado de la casa. A nivel de instalaciones, muy conveniente tener un cuarto de baño en cada planta. La cocina office también disponía de lo necesario para los desayunos y cenas. Aunque no lo utilizamos, el pequeño jardín trasero te daba sensación de amplitud. Las habitaciones eran cómodas y con lo necesario para una estancia de varios días.

Quizás echamos de menos una cafetera más convencional y un poco más de menaje de cocina (platos, cubiertos,...). También hubiese estado bien tener a disposición infusiones y algo de papel de cocina.
