The Old Smoke House

Interesting character house. Near the beach. Mostly comfortable if you can manage the wrap around stairs etc

Wasn't prepared for how steep the stairs are and the difficulty my mum would have managing the steps and the lack of hand rail or visible contrast. I struggled with the smell of fresh paint which was also somewhat reminiscent of nicotine. Hopefully that's all faded now but I hope they put better grips on n the stairs and highlights of the edges. I washed their lounge throws because they were a bit dusty. Fyii The freezer is an ice box compartment in the fridge.

Good location for Deal town and the sea front

Low ceilings, stairs steep for an elderly relative, could have had some basic condiments and a non slip mat for the bathroom

The Old Smoke House was honestly home from home! It is such a lovely cottage and had everything you needed. Loved that you are close to the beach and the high street which is all lovely! Loved the beautiful sea view from the bedroom. Would highly recommend. Great communication from our hosts also!

Great location, well equipped little house.

Nothing, only drawback was the low ceilings as I'm 6'2"!
