Great location next to the golf course outstanding .!serene and peaceful setting, Beautiful house and enjoyed the history associated with the stable and the major. Danni was an exceptional hostess and we loved the scones!

The location was beautiful, quiet. Lovely outdoor spaces. Bedrooms were spacious, bathrooms clean. The dining room table was large, perfect for dining with our group of 7, and general accommodations were lovely. About a 20-25 min drive to downtown Edinburgh. (We were there during Fringe Festival and Tattoo, so perhaps shorter at other times.) Great welcome booklet, things to see, places to eat, etc. Everyone loved it! Thanks Dannii.

Large living area, very well equipped kitchen, two en-suite bathrooms for the two bedrooms upstairs, very clean. Dannii is super friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating.

Amazingly clean, cozy, plenty of bedding, convenient, serene, very family friendly…and absolutely beautiful. also easy walking distance to a nice village pub.

No clothes dryer (but they did have clothes drying racks). It wasn’t an issue for us as we rented a car but you will for sure need one.

this was by far the most beautiful place I’ve ever stayed in. Dannii was so welcoming and from the minute we arrived we felt at home . the surrounding area is stunning and yet close to the city too

Well equipped property and hosts made us feel very welcome and couldn’t do enough for us. Great space to eat around big table and very comfortable beds and living space. Very quiet location with great walks down canal side. Outside space great in sunny weather. House was a pleasure to live in with great neighbours.
