Cottage by the river in Cenarth with seasonal fishing and Wifi

the property was amazing, clean, homely, garden was bigger than expected with amazing views with the river at the bottom of the garden. plenty of information of local area, guest book and we loved the little pictures around the property, had everything you could possibly want from kitchen utensils including baby bowls and spoons to magazines, books and games.

Excellent self contained cottage, felt like home away from home.

The weather

Host has really thought about what is needed for a stay. Loved the iron and ironing board as we were attending a wedding so was very useful. So handy to have the shop over the road just be aware of the closing and opening times. Host was helpful in providing info on local taxi companies and even offered their own services if we had difficulty! There’s also a very good guide to the property and area in the property that’s easy to follow. Milk was provided which is so helpful as well as some nice Welsh biscuits. We didn’t use kitchen as such only for drinks and toast so can’t comment on that but seemed well equipped with quality items. Immaculately clean throughout and the sofa bed is not in sitting room but in separate room at back of property overlooking the river so if you do make use of this you aren’t losing a room and those using it have their own privacy. This room is also great for anyone who can’t use stairs as bathroom is downstairs. Overall I’d definitely recommend and go back again as we didn’t have chance to explore this beautiful area and this property is a perfect base.

Shower isn’t the most powerful but I’ve definitely had a lot worst and there’s no issue with the temperature as it’s heated separately to main water. It’s easily accessible though and nice and large.

Really enjoyed seeing the New year in at this lovely cottage, exceptionally clean with everything you need in a fantastic location,views are stunning, thankyou for making our stay perfect,we will be back.
