"We had an enjoyable stay but feel we were overcharged for the facilities provided."

6.0

We really liked the location, it was idyllic. The barn was clean and tidy and the staff working there (cleaning) were very friendly and efficient.

We thought the property was very overpriced at just under £200 per night. We would expect to pay this price for a 5 star hotel with swimming pool! We were disappointed that we didn't have a private outside area to eat our meals as the views were stunning. The old railway sleeper picnic benches and tables located at the end of the properties were not private or peaceful due to being right behind the farmhouse garden. In addition, we never had a proper night's sleep in the upper room as it was exceptionally hot weather and there was no air in the room, even with the roof window open all night and all doors open during the day. A fan is really needed in these circumstances.
