.Bathroom layouts are not really conducive for a group .Bedrooms overcrowded with unnecessary furniture ie obstructive access to curtains and limited mobility . Heating system not reliable in lounge .Glass door between lounge and bedroom needs a blind.

Flexible accommodation for a big group. Parking for 3 cars. Beds comfy and handy location. Host Jo flexible on departure time which was much appreciated. Communication good.

Maybe a few basic kitchen cleaning and washing up items, washing up liquid, scourers etc and some more wine glasses. Lounge area a little cold - need the wood burner for a winter stay, then soon warmed up with 8 of us in there.

It was a useful space for a large group and convenient location close to town. Our host was really helpful checking in and was fine that we had an unexpected guest due to our brother surprising us from abroad.

The showers weren't great - one didn't work and another was scalding hot. Bedding wasn't provided for all beds - for the amount of guest we'd booked (regardless of the extra), we could have used all rooms. Small things were strange like no bin bags, mattresses which weren't the same size as the bed. There was broken equipment like a blind and a lamp. It was fine for two nights but needs a big refresh.
