Beautiful Spacious Holiday Home - Romney Sands

Host John was very helpful and friendly when we were at the accommodation. If everything had been working the caravan would be a lovely place to stay.

Very disappointed. We were promised a refund from host John - 3 months on we are still waiting. We arrived at the caravan to be told there was no hot water or gas central heating as the boiler was broken. Day 2 the boiler wasn’t fixed as promised. In addition we had 2 electric power cuts so spent most of the evening with no hot water, heating or lighting. It was February and very cold and dark early. On discussion and agreement with a very apologetic John we decided not to stay our planned 3rd night and were promised a refund. Since leaving John hasn’t responded to any of our communications which has saddened us since he was so helpful trying to sort the unfortunate state of the van when we were there.

Was very well equipped and having the essentials was so helpful! Mike and Johns communication was spot on and very friendly. The holiday home was very clean and lovely presented. Location was perfect for us.

The only one thing that I we didn't like was we noticed as non smokers a very ovious smell that people had been smoking in the property. You did however have airfresheners dotted about which is good.

The property had nice decor, good facilities and a well prepared/laid dining table. The kitchen was well stocked with condiments, cooking oil, tea/coffee and cleaning items and the bathrooms had toiletries and deodorants. Care had been taken with its presentation. Also the TV had streaming services such as Netflix, Amazon Prime etc.

The only negative was not the property itself but ‘Storm Darragh’ which affected our stay for the first few days!

Ideal location for a couple of days work & pleasure. Very clean and welcoming venue. Host very helpful. Just enough home comforts to make this a better choice than a hotel.

Such a beautiful, clean and well equipped caravan. Mike and John have thought of everything. Highly recommended...
