Loved the location over looking the lake with the swans and geese. The four poster bed was a lovely touch. The lodge was clean. We really enjoyed our stay

The only negative we could think of was that we needed a corkscrew to open a bottle of wine and a scissors.

The bedroom.was clean and tidy and a the bed was nice and soft hot tub clean and worked completely as aspectted

No frying pan and lack of utensils no overn gloves provided either

Beautiful location was lovely little lodge. Would come back. It was warm was a good choice to stay here.

There was only one fork cutlery could do with replenishing, it would benefit from a deep clean, splash marks in the bathroom. Windows and mirrors could do with a clean.

We arrived Monday lunchtime for a couple of nights. Although it was self catering we didn’t want to cook and wanted to eat out. I read on the reviews that there was a restaurant on site for meals and breakfast. When we arrived we went to find the restaurant for some tea, only to find out it was closed until Wednesday evening. So we had to drive off site to find somewhere to eat every day. Also I would not say the lodge was a luxury lodge as looking very tired and lake could do with skimming as covered in alge.

Was quite confusing on booking.com as didn’t realise what cabin and the keys were in that cabin had to call the emergency number on door as no one in reception

The location was perfect as was the hot tub!

Little touches weren't there, the kettle was so full of limescale that it looked mouldy, dirty windows and it's the first venue I have ever stayed at where there wasn't even 1 teabag! The hot tap in the bathroom was plumbed in incorrectly and despite being asked to shower before and after using the hot tub (as you should) the complimentary shower gel was the finest bottle I have ever seen! The devil is in the detail.
