Lovely garden and rooms. Great location

Had a few issues with WiFi- but they tried to resolve them so they we’re on it

I did not stay at the property as i clearly indicated on booking and gave the name and contact details of the person who I booked for They had a difficult stay relating to the fire/ health safety risk in the property due to a suspected faulty boiler The person who stayed when contacting Lyme Bay managing agent was met with countless difficulties when trying to report the issues, because they only wanted to speak to myself who was not there and knew nothing of the issue This occurred on two occasions in a three day stay and the person staying had to be really forceful and blunt to get anyone to listen and act, though the action involved opening windows to ventilate the property more, not getting a professional to check the boiler safety On leaving and the person staying shutting the windows the fumes became unbearable They could have walked away but felt that they should report this again, but once again had to be really forceful to get anyone to listen as theirs was not the name they had as the person staying A real lack of communication between booking and managing agents, systems going wrong, a lack of common sense and appropriate action on someone reporting a health and safety risk that may have lead to damage to both property and its guests

Perfect peaceful spot with a nice enclosed garden. Good location for travelling around.

WI-FI not great and a dishwasher would have been useful as it’s a family holiday?!

The calm of area. Great house, beds. definitely will be back there again and again

the smell of oil for oil burn boiler, but you can't have everything bang on?

Lovely quaint house in a quieter part of the town. Idealic scenery - right on a stream surrounded by vegetation. Great for birding with Seaton Wetlands and tram down the road (also two resident Tawny owls in the surrounding trees). Everything we needed and within a short distance of towns we wanted to visit (Lyme Regis, Charmouth, Axminster etc.).

A few items left by previous guests left us concerned about what else wasn't checked/cleaned.

Pretty old Devon cottage. Lovely location within walking distance of good pubs and charming harbour. Good garden for the dog. When we had a problem with the shower it was fixed the next day- good service. If authentic charm is what you are looking for instead of luxury, a great choice.

The third “double” bedroom was very small for 2 adults and there were only 5 towels for 6 people. We had 2 cars and the parking is limited and very steep but do-able.
