Sehr schönes Cottage, toll ausgestattet

Abgelegen, nur über (schmale) Nebenstrassen erreichbar.

It was lovely to stay in this ancient cottage with large bedrooms, comfortable living spaces and all the modern facilities. The hosts live across the road and were very helpful and attentive.

The house has lovely historical charm, in a beautiful and tranquil location. The house was extremely well equipped.

Unfortunately the local pub was closed during our stay, with the next nearest alternative ~3 miles. A single bathroom was somewhat tricky between 4 adults - manageable, just tricky! The assigned car parking was extremely difficult to use with a large SUV. Also manageable but not straightforward.

Surprisingly large property with lots of original features and character. Excellent location in the centre of the village with allocated parking (very valuable in a small village!). We had a very comfortable stay and the hosts were lovely.

Only one bathroom but we managed

Location was perfect for us…We enjoyed the cosy living room, fire and character of the property. The kids loved exploring the house and all the rooms and especially enjoyed dancing to the record player which is a lovely touch. We really appreciated the milk on arrival too!!

Toilet seat was a bit wonky and needed continually adjusting. The shelves in the bathroom were a hazard and fell off when we were showering. Luckily the kids were not using the bathroom other wise this could have really injured them! (Left a message with the owner prior to leaving) We did however really enjoy our stay and would recommend to others. Many thanks John and Lisa

Low ceilings but that can’t be helped in a character property. I need to get a smaller car for the parking space!
