200 year old large townhouse with sea views

An excellent location and very comfortable accommodation. This property offers everything you would need for a short stay. Location was very quiet at night and thick curtains made the rooms dark. The bed linen in particular was incredibly comfortable; we both slept fantastically. There are a variety of activities in the house in case you have rainy weather and the ability to lounge on a sofa or set up a large table in the living room. A second living room available upstairs if need be (not sure why this isn't a bedroom though!) Parking wasn't an issue as there was a convenient car park a minutes' walk away

The kitchen facilities were a bit sticky and a lack of basic cleaning items such as bin bags, washing up liquid, sprays and cloths meant using the kitchen required a quick trip to the shops and a good scrub. The stairs were difficult for an elderly relative.

Comfy beds, good wifi, huge bathroom, great view from top floor, big fluffy towels

Let down by scruffy kitchen and alleyway. Parking difficult but as expected for Scarborough

Location and cleanliness

Had been here before, so knew there was no parking, and website still says no parking. Found a nearby car park, paid £20 for 2 days. When we got in the house, there was a parking scratch card! Would have been nice to know!

Very nice and clean, and tastefully furnished.

Not super comfy for relaxing in and quite a cold house.

Lovely townhouse as described. Had everything we needed. Clean and comfortable. Friendly and helpful host. Close to areas of interest in Scarborough.

There wasn't really anything we didn't like.

perfect location, easy access to all of Scarboroughs main attractions and sights within 5-10minutes walking distance, nice view from top bedroom and well presented.

toilet flush mechanism downstairs was glitchy and kept filling up constantly unless you tapped the button several times, and double beds in rooms that could easily fit king size, I’m just being picky though cos I’m a large human being and my feet stick out and I annoy my mrs taking up space
