Stonehaven ground floor home with a spectacular harbour view.

Lovely apartment

Not being able to control the heating, it was controlled remotely. It never came on the morning of our last day and it was quite chilly. The key safe was very difficult to open, and we appreciated the owners dad coming to help, he was lovely.

Location

I loved the bathroom and the shower: lots of room and clearly newly refurbished. I also loved how big the towels were: some hotels really skimp on the size. The location was perfect for me: walking distance from everywhere I needed to be.

Not a big deal but I would put some drapes in the bedrooms, especially the master bedroom, as the window looks at the main street and it feels a little exposed with only the slatted blinds, which also don't block the sunlight completely in the morning. Long curtains would also protect from the draft at night.

your cleaner was a bit rude to my sister it was 2.55 we never knocked on door coz we new there were people in she came out the door and asked what we wanted and told us its not 3 o'clock yet it was her tone more than anything when we got in all the bedding was damp so we had to dry themnon radiators no towels in the bathroom and one towel each for 4 day .

The location is nigh perfect, though would've been even better if the lovely cafe next door hadn't been closed for refurbishment. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of space to put clothes away. The sofas were comfy too, and the shower was excellent.

A few more bits of cutlery would've been good, and the induction hob took a bit of getting used to. Also the washer drier was not as good as having a separate tumble drier...but none of these were major problems.

Location is superb, right on the harbour

Great location overlooking the harbour and close to amenities. Private parking is a boon.

Road noise was a bit disturbing in the front bedroom, but hey right next to the harbour so of course it's a bit busier.

Excellent could not be happier. Right on the harbour and spotless clean. All new furnishings and very responsive host.
