Bells Cottage

This is such a lovely cottage in a small village! Like from a movie... it´s equipped with everything you could possibly need during your stay including bathrobes for a whole family (3 tiny ones as well). The garden is beautiful too. A very relaxing place - all you hear are sheep, a pheasant, chicken, bumblebees, birds and the churchbell every hour (quite silent). There are a few walking trails around the village. And living in the middle of the Cotswolds you get quite fast to every place you want to visit there by car. And your wonderful host Deborah gets you maps and advices for a lot of trips in the countryside. I loved everything there.

Everything. The owner has really thought of everything, that you may forget. The location is perfect,at the end of a lane, lovely & peaceful. We had a great break, celebrating a birthday. The back garden is amazing, it felt like home & not a holiday let.

As pretty as a picture with a garden to match. Comfortable and convenient with all the amenities you could wish for. Deborah was very helpful and some homely treats were appreciated

The only snag for us was the very steep stairs.

The cottage was beautiful, felt like a home from home , really well equipped and the owner has thought of everything , great welcome pack which we didn't expect so was a nice surprise , full of lots of treat, which were very nice especially the scones ,jam and clotted cream not forgetting the bottle of Bubbly !!. Loved the ingle nook fireplace in the living room It has a lovely cottage garden which is nice and secure and great for our little dog , the cottage is in a lovely quiet area in a beautiful village .

its not so much a dislike , just a comment , the cottage is old ( which is part of its charm)therefore has some quirky features , mainly the stairs which could be difficult for some people to negotiate especially during the night as the bathroom is down stairs. As we are both in our 70s so of an age when you need to make more trips to the loo during the night it was a little unnerving at first but we got use to them .

Lovely welcome feeling and basket on arrival. Great location

Stairs to steep and slippery with socks on. Maybe rubber or carpet covering would be preferred.
