"Perfect house"

We have just come home from our stay at Ancrum house. I booked it for our family to stay there over the weekend as we were attending my daughters wedding at gretna green. The house was perfectly located for both the ceremony and the reception afterwards. Both locations were only a 5 min walk from the house. The garden hot tub, trampoline and outdoor seating area were perfect for us to congregate before the wedding and for the day after when we could all relax. The toy kitchen was a massive hit with my youngest grandson. The house was immaculate both inside and out. Tracey was there to show us how everything worked and was a phone call away if we needed anything. ( not that we did as it was all perfect.) I definatley recommend this house for families or friends who want a place to stay. Five stars are not enough. Thankyou for making our weekend so perfect. Anne

We all enjoyed Ancrum house, hot tub was fab and trampoline was loved by our 3 year old granddaughter, lovely big garden for her to run around in, house was spacious, 7 of us, but we didn't feel we were falling over each other, we really enjoyed our stay there

Beautiful house with everything you needed. House was warm and homely and spotlessly clean. Tracey was an excellent host, very friendly and helpful.Location was ideal for our needs, handy for buses and trains.
