"Great location Belfast Lough"

Location, location, location. The boat house couldn't be better situated. Right on the beach and close to local shops and cafes. The interior was also well decorated and had everything you could need for a short stay. Carol the owner was happy to lend her own utensils if more were required. Snacks on arrival was a nice touch

"The Coastguard Boathouse was just grand!"

Location was fantastic! The Boathouse was just perfect for our short 3 day stay! Our host Carol was very informative about the tides etc, where to park our car and the local amenities..

Location good. Very compact a small shower but it’s very efficient. A small fridge but shops near by. What would be helpful if host gave information about bus into Belfast. Bus stop very close but knowing price, how to pay and a time table would be helpful. We don’t usually use bus but being in an unknown city it did remove the stress of travelling into Belfast which is 6 miles away. We did have our bikes and boat house is on a cycle path but again are there facilities to park bikes in Belfast are they safe and which place is best to lock bikes up would also have been helpful.

"Beautiful place to stay"

Cosy pretty apartment with lovely traditional maritime touches. Everything you could need and beautiful views over the sea with direct qccess onto the beach. Could even secure the patio with a roll out divider so my dog could safely potter around. Carol could not have been more helpful. Would definitely stay qgain.

Loved everything about the Boat House, it was clean, cosy & wow what a location. The views from the Boat House are by far one of the best we've ever stayed in, we could've sat outside for hours just listening to the waves. Communication with the owner Carol was absolutely faultless, really helpful.
