Host & Stay - The Nook

Gorgeous property with exceptional views. Such a cosy and clean place wish we had booked for a whole week! The hosts are incredibly friendly and helpful, highly highly recommend this property if you want a break away in Saltburn. Perfectly located a short walk from the beach and the town centre. Will definitely be returning.

Stylish and comfortable with everything you need for your stay. Great location only a few minutes from the town or beach and lovely view of the beach and cliffs. Host really welcoming and friendly.

The noise from the road can be loud with buses and lorries passing.

The Nook was a fabulous place to stay. Beautifully decorated and equipped for all our needs. Geoff met us when we checked in at 4pm and said if he had our number he would've called to say it was ready for us sooner. That would have been great as my in-laws would have appreciated the earlier check in but did not detract from our stay. He has a number of recommendations of places to eat and drink, didn't make it to all of them so a good reason to return and try the others!. The whole place was lovely, the bunk beds were really comfortable and the bathrooms fab. We would definitely return to Saltburn and to The Nook, the place a credit to Geoff and his family.

There's nothing I didn't like about my stay

Loved the location, right by the beach with sea views. Beds were comfortable and facilities amazing. Owners very helpful and friendly.

.Geoff the owner was very friendly and helpful .I hope he is very proud of his achievements in the property which is well designed and functional and also takes the needs of guests into account.Spacious rooms and bathrooms .Loads of storage .Large comfortable beds (The bunks were amazing) High quality towels and bedding .Mirrors near to plug sockets (high on my list) The secret garden area was a great idea too .

The weather :).Although we did get out and about and onto the beach .

Such a beautiful home and absolutely perfect location. Immaculate throughout and everything you could need for a family stay by the coast. We will absolutely be staying here whenever we can!

This is our second stay - it is still as super, all very comfortable and clean and a wonderful location and views! The host was very helpful too. Probably the best holiday cottage in Saltburn.

I would prefer not to book with Host&Stay as I've had awful experiences with them before - in fact it took me over a year to decide to book this because unfortunately they're with this company which I prefer to avoid, although I am glad I did as it is a nice property and not like the other run-down ones they have. I did ask Host & Stay to confirm there were no additional charges, and they assured me in writing that there were not. Then, days before the holiday, when I was working 17-hour days and very busy, I was inundated with long messages from them asking for a £250 deposit fee or a £25 insurance fee. I had already paid £890 for 3 nights so I was not massively happy at this. In addition, Host & Stay insisted we can only check in from 4pm and must check out by 10am, which is not ideal, and there was only 1 car parking space. I spent the week beforehand feeling quite down about the impending holiday tbh. The actual host, however was far more friendly, and we were able to check in a early. He was also happy to have a later checkout but we did leave at 10am in any case for a day to York. My older son who came for 1 night was able to park as the host was very accommodating.

The hosts! What a warm welcome and how utterly accommodating they were! The place is immaculate and we would like to transport the bathroom home!
