Traffic noise, although only at peak times and I am a light sleeper.

Fabulous location, clean ,modern and thoughtfully decorated ,and equipped. Great for families, plenty of things to do , and places to eat .

The Nook is a beautiful, well-decorated property in an ideal location to explore Saltburn. We came for a long weekend and wanted to stay and explore the local area so it was good to have everything so close and not need to travel anywhere. It was walking distance from local shops and restaurants, and also from the beach and waterfront. It was also very handy that the funicular railway to the beach was just around the corner, which really helped as one of our family is not very mobile. We got a warm welcome from our hosts, with plenty of useful information about local amenities before we arrived and also a meet and chat when we arrived. There was also space to park our car, right outside the property.

We had no complaints at all, everything was as expected or better.

great family bolt hole, stylish, modern and sizeable. great view and accessible to town. really good modern amenities lovely bathroom nice bedding. owners, very accommodating and friendly cheese board was a a great welcome

proximity to the road. sound of traffic on the hill even through the night was a bit of a niggle. might be useful to add a torch or two in case of power cut!
